Coming home after a long day in the city. My work takes me into every neighbourhood, just about every street in the city. It is a beautiful, hectic existence. A client once called me 'the photo mayor' and that pretty much covers it. I get everywhere and hear all kinds of stories:). The peace and quiet of Bohemia is salutary then.<\/p>\n

Holiday in your own city <\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I did a lot of photography on the North Pier Head. The whole world passes by. People from all corners of the world and all districts of the city. If I then get chips, kibbles and cola on the Visafslagweg at Roeleveld Vis, the holiday feeling is complete.<\/p>\n

Driving criss-cross through the Transvaal and Schilderswijk neighbourhoods on the way home. Or whatever neighbourhood is on your route. All those streets you never visit otherwise. The city suddenly becomes many times bigger.<\/p>\n

I am in Meer en Bos almost every day. My labrador Mas swims in the Haagsche Beek there. It is a beautiful old forest where dogs are allowed to roam freely. And it is near my home.<\/p>\n

Marcel Veenendaal, the singer of Di-rect! The best singer in the Netherlands. A great live band. During corona, the band streamed a number of concerts, where Marcel also revealed himself as the new prime minister of the Netherlands.
