Verhagen looks out over the showroom, full of Land Rovers, a broad smile spreading across his face. “Breeland took over this branch from the Romijn family business, a well-known name in Forepark, the Leidschendam–The Hague location. The family feel remains. Breeland has been a Jaguar Land Rover dealer in the Rotterdam region since 1997. This is the fourth branch, joining those in Rotterdam, Dordrecht and Brielle.”

The manager is brimming with ambition. His mission: to raise Breeland’s visibility in the region. He aims to connect with the high-end target audience, which means you’ll find the dealership represented at luxury trade shows, jewellers and Michelin-starred restaurants. “You’ll see us everywhere in the region. Our team is eager to get out there.”

Verhagen has a clear vision for the location. “I want people who walk in here to feel that this is where they want to be. The atmosphere is welcoming, everyone receives a personal consultation, and together we explore their needs. This customer-focused approach extends to our workshop, where we offer service for both Jaguar and Land Rover. All our models can be fully customised to individual preferences. The most luxurious model is the Range Rover SV Bespoke.”

For this luxury model, customers are also welcome to visit the importer at the SV Bespoke Studio in Antwerp. You can make an appointment at the Forepark branch and a salesperson will accompany you, so you can see firsthand what's possible in Antwerp. There, you can browse the striking hues of the carefully curated SV Bespoke colour palette or create your own pigment using the Match-to-Sample service. “We ensure that the desired colour is achieved without compromise,” says Verhagen. “In a Bespoke, you're surrounded by comfort and quality tailored to your taste. You can choose from a range of semi-aniline leather or durable, non-leather Ultrafabrics upholstery in exclusive colours and perforations. We personalise every detail, and we have advisors at every level to help with your choices. Optimal customer experience is always our top priority. Customers are also invited annually to share their experiences. That feedback is our guiding principle.”

Enjoyment

The Breeland team plays a key role in their success. “Everyone is passionate about Land Rover and knows exactly how to meet customer needs,” says Verhagen. “But perhaps the most important thing is enjoying it. You can feel it when people truly love their job.”

At Breeland Den Haag, you'll find Land Rover's three brands: Range Rover, Defender and Discovery. All models are available as efficient plug-in hybrids, and the first fully electric Range Rover is also expected in 2026. “You're welcome to come and take a test drive,” he says. “Ultimately, it's all about experiencing the feeling for yourself.”

Verhagen smiles broadly: “The control behind the wheel, your position on the road, the safety and luxury. I think freedom is literally about having space, occupying it and moving in complete comfort. With that freedom, new horizons open up.”
